Account Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION
As Design Center’s Account Executive, you will develop relationships with Fortune 500 companies, selling business solutions created by a highly talented group of designers and developers. Our industry-leading mobile applications contain a unique blend of top-notch user experience and cutting-edge technology.

Design Center is hiring an Account Executive in our St. Paul, MN office to help us continue our unprecedented growth.

The account executive owns the client relationship and is ultimately responsible for their overall impression of Design Center. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your assigned clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Critically important, is your ability to liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring the vision our designers present results in the best possible outcome for the client. Design Center, Inc. is looking for an Account Executive that knows how to dig deep for information, gaining knowledge of each client’s buying process, truly qualifying the opportunity by knowing how to find and ask the right questions.

DETAILS

Accountabilities

  • Qualify and convert leads
  • Prospecting and closing projects with new and existing clients
  • Build and maintain client relationship
  • Account growth (sales) and maintenance
  • Sell Design Center’s customized mobile software solutions
  • Write statements of work
  • Collaborate with operations on estimating
  • Contribute data to the pipeline metrics documentation
  • Liaison and advocate for client and Design Center
  • Communicating and setting expectations with client and Design Center team
  • Validates the vision presented by design team meets the client’s requirements
  • Facilitates communication around scope creep and budget adjustments
  • Quarterly business reviews
  • Initiate invoice process
  • Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets

Quality Assurance Manager

Design Center is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager in our St. Paul, MN office to help us continue our unprecedented growth.

Design Center, Inc. is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager that has experience testing custom mobile and web applications and can manage a team of Quality Assurance testers, analysts, and engineers. You will be expected to tackle new challenges and will be expected to work in the trenches with your team. There will be the opportunity to establish industry standard processes and work as a respected member of a cross-discipline team. We develop custom software for a wide range of technologies including mobile applications, websites, and mixed reality. Our business to business tools are used as integral components of a wide range of industries and quality is one of the keys to our success.

Our Quality Assurance Team

  • Assures quality on native mobile applications, .NET web applications, and more
  • Focuses on bug prevention instead of detection
  • Empathizes with the end user and becomes their surrogate for our internal team
  • Facilitates the generation of Acceptance Criteria through various methods
  • Collaborates with multi-functional teams in a Dual-Track Scrum methodology
  • Works on projects that range from weeks to months, with opportunities to work consistently with new clients and co-workers

Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent personal skills with the ability to manage a team of Quality Assurance testers, analysts, and engineers
  • 5+ years experience assuring quality on a wide range of applications and in a variety of technologies
  • 2+ years in a managerial role
  • Industry expertise in software Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Ability to write and manage test plans for custom software
  • Experience within all stages of mobile application and web application testing
  • Experience with automated testing techniques and tools
  • Experience with BDD and related processes
  • Ability to work directly with customers and end users in a customer support capacity
  • Passion to learn new skills and take on difficult tasks
  • Self-motivation and great time management skills
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience

Design Center is hiring a Sales Representative in our St. Paul, MN office to help us continue our unprecedented growth.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for both new business development and managing existing accounts. You will be expected to develop your own leads, as well as those provided to you. As Design Center’s Sales Representative, you will develop relationships with Fortune 500 companies, solving business problems with custom software solutions that operate on cutting-edge technology.

In addition to selling Design Center’s applications, you will work closely with a highly talented group of UX designers and developers and provide seamless customer service to clients as they transition from prospects to happy customers. You will enjoy freedom to travel and operate independently to close new customers nationally.
