Like many products, Fluropon 50 revolutionized the industry when it was introduced. Unlike many products, it continues to be relevant, fifty years later.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of a transformative formula, Valspar wanted to make a big splash. So we branded the celebration and used banner ads and social media posts to drive architects to a spectacular experience at the AIA Trade show and an engaging microsite. The trade show booth attracted a record number of visitors with a video, a themed Happy Hour, and a red carpet photo opp. The microsite featured interviews with Valspar alumni from Fluropon’s first years. Ultimately, the campaign reminded the coatings industry that Fluropon was as innovative as ever.
We were able to find charming historical photography, to add further interest to the microsite.
